How does the voice transform, when relation to the whole body harmonizes?

How does life transform, when the voice is well expressed?

How does community transform, when we share our voices as an act of joy and beauty?

Integrating his work as a yoga teacher, voice coach, singer, multi-instrumentalist, Ilan Lev Method bodyworker and theater actor, Rhys Tivey offers an integrative flow to warm up, revitalize, and inspire the voice. Using a blend of meditation, intuitive movement, qi gong, hatha yoga, pranayama, and/or yoga nidra, we nourish the body, soothe the mind, and enliven the breath. We then play with research-based sustainable voice training techniques to invite the voice into easeful, ecstatic fullness. At first, we may enjoy holding this resounding vibration as a deeply personal offering of healing resonance to our own bodies. Then too, we may discover great joy in the sharing and harmonizing of our voices together in community.

The blending of voices in community has been an essential gem in our cohesion and survival as humans, for the whole of our ancestrol histories. In an era of pervasive digital interfacing, our bodies and minds are aching for the primal catharsis and bone-deep sense of social safety that only singing in person can bring. Join us, and watch how your life transforms.
